Business Development Executive - A nice job with a nice company !

This is NOT a robust, hardcore sales environment and no ridiculous targets or aggressive sales manager breathing down your neck. This, as described, is a nice role with a nice company with a very easy going supportive MD. Many of the staff have been here for years so plenty of stability and progression opportunities to really develop your long term career.

I am delighted to be working exclusively with this long-standing client again as they are in need of a Business Development Executive to join the team.

My client is a small family run business based just off the A30 in Andover who have been established for over 30 years and have created an exceptional reputation globally for quality of products and services within their field.

The role will be working closely with one of the companies owners, an engaging, supportive and very easy natured leader, someone who will invest heavily into your development in order for you to be successful, but you have to be self-motivated to get the job done.

Do well and it would lead to great career opportunities, alternatively we would be keen to hear from anyone who is now looking for better work life balance, maybe coming towards the end of their career.

The role of Business Development Executive

You will be regularly calling an established and warm client base to gather potential leads and forthcoming projects.

Responding too and following up on leads

Prospecting lapsed and new clients

Keeping in regular contact with existing clients you are quoting for.

Visiting customers on site to promote your products and services.

Liaising with designers and manufacturing staff

Producing quotes and completing orders.

About you

An experienced consultative B2B Sales Consultant who gets a buzz from closing a sale.

Proactive, structured and determined to be successful.

Confident on the telephone and face to face with customers.

Happy to get out and about to visit clients so driving licence is essential.

Reliable with an outgoing personality.

Benefits

Good base salary of £28000 - £30000 plus realistic and achievable bonuses to give an overall OTE between £38000 - £40000+

Monday - Friday
