- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and requirements.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments for each job.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC turning machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth production processes.
- Experience of reading schematic engineering drawings
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of G-codes and CNC machine controls
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control techniques.
- Prepare FAIR reports and documentation.
- Up to £54k per annum.
