Our team is growing rapidly, and were looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple projects, manage teams, and directly engage with customers.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for handling customer queries, managing multiple projects (2-3 at a time), and leading a small team. You will work on product design, tooling, and production planning, collaborating with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth project execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical engineering experience, multitasking abilities, and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mechanical design projects from initial concept to production.
  • Handle customer queries, ensuring their requirements are met effectively.
  • Oversee production planning, tooling design, and project delivery.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring project goals are achieved on time.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Visit customers and provide technical support as needed.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within manufacturing or design.
  • Proven background in tooling design and production planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering with manufacturing knowledge; prior experience in a similar industry is preferred, but any background in mechanical design will be considered.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn; electrical motor design knowledge is a bonus, but 12 months of training can be provided if necessary.
  • Strong attitude and proactive approach to problem-solvingattitude is just as important as technical skills.
