Toro Recruitment is seeking a qualifiedElectricianfor aField Service Engineeringroleon behalf of a well-established and dynamic company specialising in delivering high-quality solutions to their clients. This role isideal for a skilledElectricanwith experience in electrical systems and process plant operations who is ready to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.

The Electrician involves a mix of fieldwork across the UK and occasional overseas travel. Candidates must be flexible with working hours and locations. Full training will be provided, along with excellent benefits and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities of the Electricianinclude:

  • Maintain and fault-find electrical control panels in line with installation regulations.
  • Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for mobile processing units.
  • Install, operate, and maintain mobile processing equipment at client sites and workshops.
  • Supervise and train subcontractors, ensuring work adheres to safety and quality standards.
  • Compile detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements before service work.

Requirements

  • Recognised apprenticeship or formal training as an Electrical Engineer.
  • IET 18th Edition qualification; NICEIC certification is a plus.
  • Experience with PLC/microprocessor systems, Star/Delta setups, and inverter motor drives.
  • Background in water/wastewater or process/manufacturing industries is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
