We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Hampshire, who are recruiting for an Electrician on a permanent basis. The position is due to start immediately and the salary for is £40,054 per year.

The ideal candidate will have an Electrical NVQ Level 2, 18th Edition, 2391 and basic DBS. If you don’t have some of these requirements please still get in touch as there is some flexibility.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for carrying out high quality responsive repairs to the housing stock in accordance with customers’ requirements working on both occupied and empty homes as the need arises
  • Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping accurate and timely records of works
  • Liaising as necessary with other sections/trades to ensure implementation and completion of repairs and maintenance works
  • Using any tools, machinery, equipment or hazardous substances in accordance with information and instruction provided
  • Reporting any health and safety concerns or danger to line management as soon as practicable

Experience required:

  • Social Housing experience is required
