Solar PV Installer

Are you passionate about renewable energy and looking to make a significant impact in the industry? A client of mine is looking for someone to join their dynamic team as an ASHP Installer and be at the forefront of the green energy revolution!

  • £40,000 + pension + holiday
  • Van and fuel card provided
  • Tools, PDA and PPE provided
  • Mobile role: Andover / Southampton

As a Solar PV Installer, you will be responsible for installing Solar PV Systems, ensuring all work meets the highest standards in line with company procedures and MCS requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and safely install Solar PV Systems, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Adhere to company procedures, MCS regulations, and the 18th Edition regulations.
  • Conduct repairs and minor works for installation callbacks or remedial works.
  • Respond to breakdowns and urgent calls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • General competence in the trade.
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent in Electrical Systems.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • BPEC qualification or equivalent in the installation of Solar PV (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably within the Social Housing sector.
  • A clean UK driving license and DBS check.
