Hiring Now: Commercial Finance Analyst

I’m currently working with a fantastic company in the FMCG sector that’s looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to support a rapidly growing division in their global  business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing product costings and providing essential financial insights to drive profitability.

The Role:In this role, you’ll be responsible for:• Managing product costings (pricing) for new business to support sustainable growth.• Partnering with the Head of, providing crucial insights on pricing, product profitability, and cost optimisation.• Delivering variance analysis and supporting corrective actions for financial performance.• Creating scenario planning models to assist in key investment decisions (capital investment, third-party manufacturing, etc.).• Collaborating with the Enterprise Service Organisation (ESO) to support supply chain and commercial opportunities.• Maintaining accurate standard costs and overseeing overhead spend.• Supporting the FP&A Manager with performance analysis and reporting.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:• At least 3 years of finance experience, preferably in FMCG / manufacturing/distribution/retail sectors with exposure to standard costing.• Part-qualified or passed finalist (CIMA/ACCA).• Strong experience in pricing/costings in FMCG or manufacturing sectors.• Excellent communication skills and experience working across all levels of an organisation.• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and ability to work independently.• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SumIfs, Pivot Tables); knowledge of SAP4/HANA or Microsoft D365 is a bonus.
