  • Leading the finance function, offering strategic insight and guidance to support long-term goals.
  • Overseeing all core finance operations – budgeting, forecasting, audit, payroll, and statutory reporting.
  • Acting as Company Secretary – upholding strong governance and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting and developing a small, capable team while driving financial planning and modelling.

Suitable Candidate for the Director of Finance and Governance vacancy:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with senior leadership experience – charity sector experience is a bonus, not a must.
  • Someone who brings both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach.
  • A clear, confident communicator who can bring financials to life for a range of audiences.
  • A collaborative, empathetic leader who shares the organisation’s values of integrity, support and ambition – and wants their work to make a real difference.
