Are you an experienced and dedicated finance professional ready to take on a leadership role? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Andover based client as a Finance Manager.

This position reports directly to the Financial Controller and involves managing the finance accounts team on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support to the Financial Controller in areas such as Finance, Management Accounts and Purchase Ledger.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

  • Timely and accurate production of management information and documentation.
  • Oversight of year-end information and documentation, including statutory requirements.
  • Developing and managing annual budgets, as well as quarterly reforecasting.
  • Providing management information to internal parties, including management accounts and Board Reports.
  • Reviewing and monitoring the performance of the Finance team and all produced information/documents.
  • Managing professional relationships with third parties such as insurers, banks, auditors, and warranty providers.
  • Leading, motivating, and training staff, conducting appraisals and job description reviews.
  • Regularly reviewing and monitoring all processes involving the Finance Department for efficiency and relevance.
  • Recruitment of new team members when necessary.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

  • ACCA or CIMA Qualified or QBE with proven experience in a finance management role.
  • Must have supervised staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory and financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
