Job Description
Are you a skilled technician with a passion for motorhomes? Do you have experience in maintaining and repairing the essential systems within a motorhome? We are currently looking for a dedicated Motorhome Habitation Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of high-quality motorhomes, ensuring they are in top condition for our customers' adventures! This role may also suit practical skilled people, boat builders, carpenters, and plumbers too!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine habitation inspections and services, including electrical, water, heating, and gas systems.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on habitation areas, including kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with motorhome systems and components.
- Install new equipment or upgrade existing features as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Communicate with customers to explain any required repairs or maintenance, offering expert advice and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in the motorhome or RV industry, or relevant mechanical/electrical engineering background.
- Knowledge of motorhome habitation systems, including electrical, plumbing, heating, and gas appliances.
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults in habitation areas of motorhomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Full UK driving license (desirable).
Salary and Benefits
- 8:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
- 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:30 - 13:00
- Training given
- Uniform provided
- Brand new depot
