An opportunity has arisen for a Quotation Administrator to join a growing business that designs and manufactures Agile Working products including office pods, booths, acoustic tiles, seating and screens which are supplied to Office Furniture Dealers, Manufacturers, Designers, Specifiers and Architects.

Working within a dynamic design and sales team, you will be responsible for administering the quotations process from receipt to submission. This will involve collating the technical information, processing costings and typing quotations. You will work very closely with the Sales Team and Directors (on a daily basis) to field queries, analyse requirements, consult on solutions and producing the submission.

As Quotation Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Receiving, collating and organising all customer quotation requests.
  • Analysing requests with the sales/design teams to understand the customers requirements.
  • Liaising with the Directors to find suitable solutions.
  • Administering the costing spreadsheets to cost up products and special components.
  • Liaising with other departments (including purchasing and production) and suppliers to ascertain correct information.
  • Producing quotations in a timely manner and email customers.
  • Organising, filing and maintaining accurate quotation records.
  • Fielding enquiries on the phone.
  • Aiding the design team on basic layouts, cleaning orders, price lists and general marketing tasks
Were looking for a Quotation Administrator with:
  • High competence and experienced in Microsoft Excel this is essential.
  • Ability to communicate by phone and email with customers, suppliers and external sales staff.
  • Highly organised individual with attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or interest in AutoCAD both 2D and 3D.
  • Understanding of technical and general arrangement drawings is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience within the furniture industry is preferred but not essential.
