Key Responsibilities:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of your students. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.

Assessing and monitoring students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

Requirements to of the Year 1 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Required to teach in maintained primary schools in England.

Relevant Teaching Degree or PGCE: A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

Enhanced DBS Check: A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, as you will be working with children.

Experience with Early Years or Key Stage 1: Prior experience teaching in an early years or primary setting is beneficial.

Knowledge of the National Curriculum: A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
