A great opportunity has arisen to work as a Photographer & Graphic Designer for a well-established organisation that works with top retailers and brands.
The Photographer & Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual content for marketing purposes by photographing projects to then edit and post content on case studies, portfolios, website and social media. Working closely with the marketing team to ensure that all content meets the highest standards and aligns with our brand guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in photography and photo editing with strong graphic design skills and an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography:
- Co-ordinate, stage and manage photo shoots of completed projects.
- Edit and retouch photos to ensure high-quality visual output.
- Manage and organise a library of digital assets, including images, videos, case studies and
- portfolios.
- Support the development of visual content for marketing purposes, website and social media platforms.
Graphic Design:
- Develop and design digital and print assets, including case studies, portfolios, newsletters,
- social media content, presentations and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualise and execute design ideas that align
- with the brand's aesthetic.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the brand guidelines and company standards.
- Prepare and optimise graphics for various platforms, including social media, web and print.
- Ensure proper file management and archiving of all creative assets.
Skills and experience required:
- Diploma and/or proven experience in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Proven interest and experience as a Graphic Designer, Photographer
- Proficient and creative still photographer.
- Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours, including occasional early starts, to
- coordinate with retail store managers for the on-site photography of completed projects
- before store opening time.
- Projects can be across the UK, with a focus on locations primarily in London, so a driving
- licence, car and the ability to travel is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
- Solid photo editing and retouching skills.
- Knowledge of website content editing (preferable but not essential).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and aesthetics.
