We are currently seeking experienced Stock Controllers to join the successful and rapidly growing team of our client in their large distribution centre.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ensuring products are correctly shelved, and supporting the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations. This role requires a combination of physical stamina and analytical skills to manage stock effectively.

Working hours;

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Duties will include:

  • Investigating issues/stock file discrepancies
  • Dealing with pick/pack issues
  • Update the system to ensure an accurate stock record is maintained
  • Effectively track all stock movements within warehouse, minimizing stock adjustments & losses.
  • Maintain safe, secure & tidy warehouse environment.
  • Work closely with secondary warehouse and other locations
  • Stock checking
  • Investigating missing items
  • Responding to Customer Service queries via internal system/email
  • Assisting other departments in the pick time
  • Currying stock consolidation
  • Quality control of stock items

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail,
  • Great communication skills - both written and verbal,
  • Possess a warm and friendly personality and enjoys working with people,
  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage,
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook,
  • Flexible "can do" attitude,
  • Self-accountability/motivation.
