Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with standards like AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and spot-checks for processes and products.
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions for non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure quality measures are adhered to.
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits and addressing concerns.
  • Support customer communications regarding quality and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Required Skills

  • Experience in a quality role within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485 or IATF 16949.
  • Experience with problem-solving tools like 8D, CAPA, and 5-Whys.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data handling and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable (not essential)

  • HNC qualification or higher in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • IPC certifications in electronics engineering.
  • Experience in supplier quality and conducting supplier audits.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection processes, including first article inspections.
