Starting on direct contract ~£250 per day, supporting the management of logistics in construction for £Multi-Million heritage restoration work on a logistically complex multi-year flagship project near Andover, Hamps. The Assistant Logistics Manager job role itself where you will help oversee and manage the site wide logistics, security, and facilities of Andover construction site. More specifically:

• Liaising with the site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and security team to manage the receipt of and distribution of goods, plant, material and waste around the site to the required destination in a timely and efficient manner.
• Set tasks and manage the site logistics team to maximise productivity and ensure the smooth running of the site operations. ?
• Control the management of Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) controls relating to all logistic and facility operations and associated activities
• Manage the maintenance and management of the site wide facilities, including effective communication with the clients wider Estate Management Team

To be successful as Assistant Logistics Manager we are looking for a assistant level logistics manager with a healthy mix of the following:

• Good communication and people management skills in Logistics
• Excellent organisation skills with high levels of attention to detail
• Diplomacy with subcontractors, site operatives, management teams and visitors
• You’ll be organised and tidy minded; honest, reliable and flexible
• Able to run an efficient operation of the site wide logistics

• Right to Work in the UK
• Full UK Driving Licence
