Mploy is currently recruiting a Team Leader for a company that distributes IT brands such as HP, HPE, Microsoft, Lenovo, Apple and many others to a broad range of resellers, retailers and office dealers in the UK and beyond. Consistently ranked in the Sunday Times Top Track of the 100 Largest Privately-owned UK Companies and are now the largest privately held business in the Thames Valley region as well as the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year 2018.

As a Team Leader, you will support the department where required looking to improve efficiency and ensure an effective operation is established and maintained.

This is a full time position with possibility to get a permanent contract.

Working hours to choose from:

9.00 - 17.30 (£14.66p/h incl. £0.57 of attendance bonus)

13.30-22.00 (£15.06p/h incl. £0.57 of attendance bonus)

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing customer’s orders to high standard
  • Loading and unloading
  • Ensuring productivity levels are high and targets are achieved
  • Liaising with customers via email, Teams and phone
  • Leading and supervising the team to achieve operational plan
  • Training and developing warehouse colleagues
  • Data entry into Warehouse Management System
  • Leading and delegating within a team

Key Skills

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment and a good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and processes.
  • An organised and methodical approach to work.
  • Able to create and follow warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Attention to detail, able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and within a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Able to maintain an awareness of their working environment and work to Health and Safety standards.

Experience with a recognised WMS (Manhattan, Infor, SAP) would be desirable.
