We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our friendly Engineering team at our Andover facility. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art food processing and packaging lines.
What You'll Do:
- Provide high-quality engineering support, ensuring continuous operation of plant and equipment.
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns, effectively diagnose faults, and implement first-time fixes.
- Actively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe workplace for all.
Your Expertise:
- Technical Skills: Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, with experience maintaining a variety of equipment, including conveyors, packaging lines, metal detectors, and high-speed labeling machines.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
- Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal departments and external contractors.
- Proactive Approach: A flexible and proactive mindset, committed to meeting the overall needs of the business.

Note: While experience with food processing and packaging equipment is preferred, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
