Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-3pm

Are you an ambitious and skilled engineer with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Join our client's team as a Maintenance Engineer and play a vital role in maintaining and improving a variety of equipment.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

Our client is looking for proactive and organised individual with a strong mechanical and electrical background to help maintain their diverse range of machinery and systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing expertise in all equipment. Ranging from Steam Boiler heating system through to our Hydraulic presses.
  • Taking ownership of problem-solving and root cause analysis to ensure smooth operations.
  • Effectively prioritising and managing your workload to meet operational demands.
  • Upholding high standards of safety, ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
  • Ensuring quality and administrative procedures are followed with precision and attention to detail.

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a maintenance role with a strong foundation in electro-mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatic, and machine maintenance.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage workloads effectively, and exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices related to machinery and operations.
  • Driving License: Must have clean driving license as there is two factories which you will need to visit from time to time.
