Carbon60 are working with a growing company who are looking for Manufacturing Engineer to join the team.

Having just opened a 2nd manufacturing unit, this is a great time to join.

The role

  • Assist senior engineers with various engineering projects, working alongside other departments.
  • Develop processes and help drive continuous improvement across the department
  • Ensure equipment and process Standard Operating Procedures are documented and reviewed regularly
  • Assist Production Teams in identifying training needs for new and current operators, and deliver training on equipment and processes, to help improve performance
  • Support Production Teams in Technical matters; address technical issues, re-optimisation of process and trouble-shooting
  • Assist Quality Engineers in investigating low quality products or customer returns, whilst collating evidence and data for 8D reports, to review and evaluate process risks.
  • Support with the introduction of new products and processes;
  • Ensure key equipment remains operational by working with the maintenance teams to service and repair equipment as required, assist maintenance teams in the event of equipment breakdown and preventative maintenance routines

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years working in a relevant manufacturing environment
  • A Degree Level Qualification in the following would be an advantage; BEng/MEng in an engineering or scientific discipline such as electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering
  • It would be desirable to hold a HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
