Maintenance Manager - Elec Bias

Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing specialist. This company manufactures specialist products to industries across the world including aerospace and automotive and our at the forefront of their industry on an international level.

Job Role:

As a Maintenance supervisor/manager, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site.

Typical Duties will involve:

  • To conduct and diagnose electrical fault finding and repairs.
  • CNC fault finding and repairs.
  • Help develop, implement, and monitor systems such as Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centred Maintenance.
  • Support TPM plan.
  • Conduct analysis and investigations using Failure Mode Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys) on equipment failures that affect product quality, equipment uptime and plant capacity.
  • Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies.
  • Assist Facility repairs as and when required.
  • Support machine relocation (Disconnection and re-commissioning)
  • Competent record keeping

Desirable experience

  • Have to have a relevant Engineering qualification (electrical)
  • Have to be experienced in a face passed manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical motors, gear boxes, bearings and sensors.
  • Installation of machinery.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient whilst working alongside mechanical experts.
  • Demonstrated ability to root cause analysis/problem solving processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • CNC knowledge - desirable
