Production Manager - Fabrication - Andover - Hampshire
Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a really exciting position available for a Production Manager to join a friendly team based in the Andover area of Hampshire. This role is with a company that covert vehicles, so is in a Production / Fabrication environment.
As Production Manager you will be:
- Planning of the production schedule
- Calculating labour hours per job and efficiency/performance
- Ensuring build quality
- Managing the fabrication and vehicle building teams
- Ordering materials
- Monthly WIP & stock take
- Scheduling 3d party suppliers (e.g. Dealer PDI on completed vehicles / IVA ministry inspections on completed vehicles plus contractors for ancillary equipment)
- Responsible for ensuring health & Safety on site
- Ensuring the smooth running of production
- Mentoring trainees
- Other duties as required
To be suitable for the position of Production Manager you should have previously held a similar role within a Production or Fabrication environment. You should also be a strong manager with excellent communication skills. You would be responsible for managing 2 teams, one being 9 members and the other consisting of 4.
The hours of work are 7am -5pm Mon - Thurs and 7am - 1pm Fri (44 hour working week).
