- Must hold a recognised IQA qualification (IQA experience isn't essential, as our client can upskill).
- Must be a qualified and experienced Assessor of Engineering.
- Must hold own NVQ Level 3 or above within an Engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical; Electrical; Automotive etc.)
- Must hold solid occupational experience as a Vehicle Mechanic; Workshop Supervisor or within Marine Engineering.
- Must possess a sound understanding of internal and external verification standards.
- Minimum Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE / Functional Skills / equivalent).
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Quality Assure across a range of Engineering Apprenticeships, achieving sustained high performance, quality of delivery and learner journey, in line with our client's standards across their Apprenticeship provision
- Carry out regular observations of activity, share best practice and provide guidance and support to a team of Assessors
- Ensure the quality of teaching and learning meets the quality assurance strategy and awarding body/ EPA / Ofsted requirements.
- Support achieving consistency of delivery through Standardisation activities
- Drive and implement continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure the timely achievement of learners.
