Are you an experienced HVAC professional with a strong focus on heating systems? Our client, a leader in commercial HVAC rental services, is seeking a HVAC Technical Manager (Heating Biased) to join their team in Andover. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of heating and domestic hot water (DHW) projects ranging from 5kW to 2MW boilers and portable units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the delivery of heating and DHW HVAC projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Provide technical expertise in heating systems, including gas and oil boiler applications, and navigate plantrooms mechanically.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, recommending tailored solutions for maximum satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal teams, offering technical support and troubleshooting to engineers on the ground.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance throughout project delivery and maintain high-quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in HVAC or related M&E field.
  • 2+ years' experience in HVAC, with a focus on heating and DHW systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a mechanically minded approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and sites, while working collaboratively with the team.
  • Preparedness to support cooling projects as needed.

Desirable Skills:

  • HVAC design software experience.
  • Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH.
  • Previous project management experience in the hire industry.
