Installation Surveyor - Air Source Heat Pumps and Gas
My client has an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in the South of England, 2 days per week in Andover with surveying taking place in Bournemouth, Dorset and Winchester. In this role, you'll focus on surveying air source heat pump systems and full central heating installations, playing a crucial part in advancing sustainable energy solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
35,000 - 40,000 + pension + holiday
- Van and fuel card provided
- Tools, PDA and PPE provided
- Location New Forest, Dorset
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys for air source heat pump heating systems, including preparing kit lists, designs, drawings, and client schedules of rates. You will liaise with clients and residents to ensure that designs meet their needs and expectations, while also performing surveying and design for renewable energy and alternative heating systems. Your duties will include carrying out options appraisals to propose and quote the best solutions for clients and their residents, providing technical assistance and support to planning staff and engineers on-site, and attending client site meetings to report on progress regularly. Additionally, you will use company software systems to complete surveys and schedule appointments, conduct quality and compliance checks on completed installation works, and assist and support the company estimator with information for tenders and new quotations.
Ready to take the next step in your career? To stand out you will have:
- Experience in Renewable/Gas & multi-fuel installation, design, costing, and materials take-off.
- NVQ Level 2 minimum in domestic gas installation & maintenance or previous ACS equivalents.
- Experience, particularly within the Social Housing sector will make you stand out.
- Experience working directly with residents and clients.
- A clean UK driving license and DBS check.
