Are you a customer service professional with experience in managing B2B key accounts? A vacancy has arisen in Andover for an established distribution company to develop and manage new business opportunities. Much of their current client base is repeat business - and this role would incorporate overseeing existing accounts, with a focus to continue to develop business growth.

The role of Sales/Account Manager is a full time permanent position which is office based, Monday-Friday. With a basic salary of between £28,000 - £30,000 per year with achievable bonuses.

We seek a strong communicator with an inquisitive mindset, who is highly confident at seeking opportunities to upsell. You will be as comfortable interacting with your customer base as attending occasional off site customer visits. You will be responsible for your own workload and undertaking administration tasks.

Sales/Account Manager responsibilities:

  • Contacting existing customers via phone, email and occasional client visits
  • Account manage and develop business relationships
  • Administration of CRM system
  • Administer proposals, contracts and other documentation relating to sales ordering process
  • Regular interaction with other departments
  • Coordinating with stores department confirming stock levels
