Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Lead Chiller Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide hands on support and motivation to the on site Engineers.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to a £50k basic, depending on experience, plus an extensive benefits package.

This role is full time and permanent role. The hours of work will be 8-5, with a 1 in 10 on call, this is purely over the phone.

As this is a static role, it would best suit either an engineer who does not hold a driving license, or an ex field/mobile engineer who is looking to make a move into the warehouse.

Reporting to the Operations Director your responsibilities will include:

• Helping with the motivation and man-management of the in house engineering team
• Providing hands on assistance to the team
• Being a point of contact and support with any technical issues with the equipment
• To complete engineering appraisal's, highlighting any skill gaps within the workforce
• Supervision and on-going training for the team
• Diagnosis of Electrical, Mechanical and Refrigerant related issues with my client range of temporary chiller units
• Monitoring and improving the efficiency of the team
• Ensuring all H+S standards and regulations are adhered to
• Being a point of contact for the Engineering team and upper management

• Will be able to demonstrate an extensive understanding of Chillers
• A minimum of 8 years experience within the Chiller Industry
• Experience across a wide range of chillers and systems
• FGAS qualified
• To demonstrate a history of supervising engineering teams
