Responsibilities:
- You will contribute to the overall strategy for purchasing, supplier management and supply chaindevelopment
- You will play a key role in the continuous improvement of our purchasing processes
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new ones
- Prepare daily and monthly reports
- Inventory control
- Analyse pricing trends and seek cost-effective solutions
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager
- Office based in Andover, Hampshire
Requirements:
- Previous experience in buying / purchasing within an engineering / manufacturing environment. Had some experience as a Buyer / Procurement Officer / Purchasing Officer or similar
- Commutable to Andover, Hampshire
