Overview:

Supply Desk are partnering with a Secondary School located in Salisbury, seeking a dedicated Art Teacher for maternity cover starting in September 2024. This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to engage with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering their creativity and appreciation for the arts. The contract will be for the whole academic year until July 2025 working in a supportive Art Department. Whether you're an experienced Art Teacher seeking a temporary role or an ECT with a passion for art education, we welcome your application.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver dynamic Art lessons in KS3 and KS4. 
  • Cultivate an inclusive learning environment that supports the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities.

Located in Salisbury, our partner school is a mixed Secondary School catering to students aged 11 to 16. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art or related field (required)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Art to secondary school students
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
