Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for temporary work starting ASAP until May/June?
Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to fulfil a temporary, full time position within a large Secondary school, based in Andover. This role is to start ASAP through until at least May, with the potential to extend until end of June 2025.
The school are a popular secondary with a great reputation within the local community, boasting fantastic facilities such as a recently refurbished library and gymnasium, animal management area and expansive grounds. They have recently invested in the growth of the school grounds, creating an expansion building made up of state-of-the-art Science labs and classrooms, as well as recently opening their renovated Inclusion Space which holds bespoke classrooms and breakout spaces for nurture and SEND students within the school.
As the Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for the delivery of subject content to a high standard, ensuring an adaptable and engaging approach to learning. You will have passion for your subject with the ability to support and develop students' progress within the maths curriculum. You will be a supply cover for the duration of the role, meaning you will not be required to take any additional work home!
This role is currently a supply opportunity, and is open to both experienced and qualified teachers, and strong UQT's. The salary for this role is currently set between £130-190 per day.
For this role, you will:- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or similar- Have experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school - Be able to manage behaviour appropriately and deliver good quality lessons- Be available five days per week at least until May 2025- Hold a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain
