Logistics Specialist
Location: Andover
Permanent Opportunity: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Salary: £28,000
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and a strong ability to manage inventory? We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organised individual to join our team as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial role in accurately and efficiently managing all aspects of incoming and outgoing products. Responsibilities:
- Check the daily outgoing calendar and ensure that orders are ready for dispatch.
- Pick, pack, and label outgoing orders while also checking for short-dated stock.
- Receive and inspect incoming stock, ensuring proper shelving and collection.
- Maintain the correct location for overstocks and replenish shelves as needed.
- Contribute to the overall organisation of warehouse whilst keeping the warehouse neat and tidy at all times.
Requirements:
- Good Maths and English skills are required for effective communication and documentation.
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS Word and Excel, is necessary for data management.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is vital within this role.
- This role involves a lot of standing and walking throughout the working day with the occasional lifting up to 12kg.
