Regional Business Manager - Lead, Innovate, and Drive Success!

The Role:

As the Regional Business Manager, you'll lead and inspire teams across three key locations, driving business growth and operational success. You'll be instrumental in shaping and executing commercial strategies to ensure profitability, world-class customer service, and compliance with all legal standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a dynamic team of Business Managers, Transfer Station Managers, Industry Experts, and Operatives.
  • Driving business development, operational excellence, and superior service delivery across a diverse customer portfolio.
  • Crafting and implementing short-term (0-6 months) and medium-term (12-24 months) strategies for the region, securing buy-in from key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Achieving key customer success metrics, including first-time collection rates and recovery collections.
  • Maximising profitability while maintaining top-tier operational performance and safety standards.

About You:

We're seeking a visionary leader who can transform strategies into action and inspire teams to perform at their best. You should have:

  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • A strong background in business acumen and operational management.
  • Financial management expertise, with experience in producing and presenting financial models and business plans.
  • Transport Manager CPC (desirable).
  • A history of managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • A passion for leading high-performing teams and driving transformation and change.
  • Strategic thinking with a creative, solution-focused approach to implementing and embedding business strategies.
