This Health and Safety Administrator position is working for an electronics manufacturer in Andover. The role offers working hours of Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, and early Friday finish Friday of 3:30pm. The role is paying up to 35,000 depending on experience.

The Health and Safety Administrator would be supporting the QHSE Compliance Officer with their daily duties, assisting with documentation and administration, with the scope to learn more and eventually be able to support more hands on. They will be working as part of the Quality team, which is about 9 strong, consisting of Quality Engineers too. Full training is provided!

The role has a variety of responsibilities including supporting the improvement of compliance to the QHSE culture, the different business management systems and also numerous certifications such as ISO9001, AS9100 and ISO13485. The role also involves supporting with investigations into incidents, near misses and H+S issues, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly and timely. They will also be expected to support with the generation and maintenance of record such as risk assessments, COSHH assessments and noise assessments. Part of the role also includes audit preparation. Being part of the quality team, the role also encompasses supporting activities such as processing product rejections, investigation of complaints, investigating quality concerns at production level and assisting with final inspections. The Health and Safety Administrator will also be required to plan training such as First Aid or General safety courses.

You will need:

  • Ideally experience with manufacturing
  • Ideally experience working within a H+S position
  • To be passionate about health and safety
  • Exceptional organisation and communication
  • Full UK Driving License desirable as working between two local sites
