Our well established market leading client based in Andover is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the high level of service that they offer through the correct picking, packing and loading of products using all the delivery methods available to them.

£12 per hour for 3 month probation - for review after successful probation period

Responsibities to include:

  • Stock Counting
  • Picking
  • Packing
  • Loading couriers - networks, pallets, same days and more.
  • Loading transport
  • Assisting with Movement of stock following popularity analytics
  • General housekeeping - including but not limited to emptying bins, facing up racks/shelves/leave pallets and recycling in the correct locations
  • Ensuring HHT are charged and taken care of each night
  • Ensuring all orders go out that need to each day
  • Being responsible to check that all fire escapes are open and have clear access
  • All walkways to be clear at all times
  • Conduct weekly walk arounds with manager to show a satisfactory level of work
  • Responsible for the final loading of transport at the end of each day, large items and small.
  • They will be other reasonable tasks to complete that are not listed
  • Ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Assist with securing site at night

Candidate Requirements

  • "Makes it happen" individual: not just can do!
  • Great at working in a team to achieve end goals
  • Forklift licenses - beneficial but not essential!
  • Good attention to detail
  • Warehouse experience
  • To support management in in all decisions with a positive outlook, even when they may not be your preferred option
