Automotive Production Operative (DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED)

Join our client's team as a Production Operative, where your multi-skilled abilities will be crucial in contributing to the seamless operation of their production system. Working in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), you will select, upholster, and assemble their products with precision and attention to quality standards. Health and safety guidelines will be a top priority in your role, making your contribution essential to the overall success of your client's team.

Additional Information:

  • Fixed day shift working pattern, subject to change based on business needs.
  • No people management responsibilities within this role.

Key Activities:

  • Produce, assemble, and install parts following SOPs to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Operate machinery according to the production schedule, including impact drivers, torque wrenches, vehicle ramps.
  • Uphold high standards of Quality from Production to the end Customer.
  • Wear appropriate safety protection and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.
  • Proactively identify potential roadblocks, present solutions, and work with your team to prevent recurrence.

Essential Key Skills & Experience:

  • Full driving license required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including SOPs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing Operations (or willing to work towards).
  • Positive and proactive "can do" attitude.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a cellular environment within a production facility.
  • Automotive quality standard experience/Production environment quality experience.
  • Previous experience using air-fed tools and hand tools (torque wrench, sanders, etc.).
  • Previous upholstery experience.
