Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with regular overtime opportunities, including weekends
Salary: Starting from 38,961 per year + overtime rates
About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fitter with HGV Trailer/Plant knowledge to join a leading UK operator of sustainable waste recycling, recovery, treatment, and disposal services. This full-time, permanent position plays a crucial role in their Industrial Services team, carrying out general workshop duties on heavy plant and HGV vehicles. With over 600 employees across 21+ depots, they provide stable, long-term career opportunity in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of LGV trailers, site plant equipment, vehicle plant, and accessories.
- Ensuring all maintenance is carried out efficiently and safely in line with company standards.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard.
- Working as part of a team and supporting colleagues when needed.
- Keeping accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Upholding high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
About You
- Experience: At least 2 years of mechanical knowledge in a relevant industry.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and the ability to plan work logically.
- Attitude: A team player with a professional and proactive approach to safety.
- Qualifications: LGV Mechanic certification (preferred) and a valid Driving Licence (required).
