About Us:Join a leading organisation in the healthcare sector committed to providing exceptional facilities management. We are seeking a dedicated Hard Facilities Manager to oversee crucial projects related to passive fire safety measures within our healthcare buildings.

Role Overview:As a Hard Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of projects focused on the installation, inspection, and maintenance of passive fire safety measures (PFSM). Your expertise will ensure compliance with the Scottish and English Health Technical Memorandum and relevant building regulations. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage PFSM projects from inception to completion, including firestopping, fire-resistant walls, fire dampers, and fire doors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as CDM2015, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, cost, and deliver safe and efficient PFSM projects, adhering to the RIBA Plan of Work.
  • Maintain high-quality project management standards, ensuring documentation and processes meet organisational requirements.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, delivering results that exceed customer expectations while fulfilling Service Level Agreements and contractual obligations.
  • Contribute to the financial success and ongoing growth of the services provided under our client's contract.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in facilities management
  • Strong knowledge of passive fire safety measures and relevant regulations.
  • Project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage relationships.
  • Relevant qualifications in fire safety or facilities management are advantageous.
