Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • To maintain service and repair all automated machinery to minimise production down time using engineering techniques
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprentice trained
  • Educated in a relevant discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.
  • Previous experience working as a mechanical fitter within a machinery maintenance environment would be beneficial
