Position: Assistant Accountant with end-to-end Payroll
Location: Anstey (Office-based)
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Are you a motivated Assistant Accountant and looking for a new challenge? Our client, a successful manufacturing organisation in Leicestershire, is seeking a skilled individual to join their Finance Team on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the role:
. Process end-to-end payroll using Bright Pay software (training provided).
. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
. Handle PAYE, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions.
. Prepare payroll tax returns and generate payroll reports.
. Assist with month-end and year-end payroll tasks.
. Assisting with Balance Sheet Recs and TB
. Simple management accounts duties
. Pensions Experience
. HR Admin duties
. Ad hoc administrative tasks
About you:
. Experience in payroll administration.
. Strong knowledge of UK payroll practices and legislation.
. Excellent communication and IT skills, with proficiency in Excel.
. Studying AAT (preferably)
