Owen Daniels are supporting a leading Manufacturing business in recruiting for a Quality Inspector on a contract basis.

M-Fri (Days)
Hourly rate: 14 per hour

The Role:

Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to assess product quality.
Use a variety of measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (coordinate measuring machines) to conduct inspections.
Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformance issues and document findings in inspection reports.
Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Assist in developing and improving quality control processes and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and calibration data.
Support internal and external audits as required.
Communicate quality standards and expectations to production staff and suppliers.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized inspection area.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment,
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, testing methods, and tools.
Familiarity with ISO standards or other relevant quality management systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
