Position: Project Coordinator - Aerospace

Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting project and program management team based in the US through working with planning, scheduling, procurement, and operations to provide solid information on product status. Supports the assigned Project/Program Managers with timely information on assigned projects and programs.
Scope:
Individual contributor at an expert level on a project or program team. Has frequent and regular interaction with
functional management and identified internal resources. Frequent contact with Project/Program Managers.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors, validates, and communicates component and product status on assigned products and projects to drive to 100% OTD.
- Collaborates with Operations, Planning, Program Management, and Customer Service to confirm planned delivery dates for sales orders and ensure alignment of inventory with production requirements.
- Responsible for development and communication of recovery plans to Program Management.
- Supporting all required internal and external status meetings related to product delivery performance.
- Generates reports to provide visibility of the production orders status and to track performance.
- Takes initiative to recommend actions based on interpreting data and projecting impact of alternative solutions. Advises project and functional management on recommended actions and potential consequences.
- Initiates appropriate business correspondence and documentation to ensure accurate records of program compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business or a related program field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of related work experience.
- Solid understanding of the order fulfillment process.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other related business tools.
- Specialized knowledge of industry customers, products, technology and processes. Ability to investigate and draw on past practices to develop innovative approaches for new programs.
- Ability to work on complex and/or undefined problems and to quickly identify and address critical issues.
