This is the type of place where everyone mucks in. Nobody questions if there's a shout for help or a deadline to hit, everyone pulls together as a team.Â
It's a unique setup. You'll be based internally within a global Engineering and Manufacturing facility. Don't get me wrong, though, this is very much a print-related role. Â As an internal print department, the work you do is then distributed globally to all the sites, showrooms and events.Â
You'll be coming in as a Studio Operative. Your main focus will be taking a brief, the artwork and making it print-ready. Projects will be anything from Wall Graphics, Signage, POS, Exhibition displays, Window Graphics, Office branding etc. There are two positions available.Â
Whilst your primary responsibility will be in the Studio, there will be many times that you'll be required to jump on the actual printers too, sometimes out on site with your customers (colleagues really) and if you're really lucky, you could be installing the graphics when it gets really busy. Again, you will primarily be in the Studio but have the understanding that everybody mucks in to get the job done.Â
You're going to be employed by your employer, a Global business in the space of Storage, Document Management and Information Management. You'll be based on site within a global engineering business but it won't be just them you do work for, more and more, your services will be offered out to other customers your parent company works with. Giving you variety on projects, customers and work.Â
You'll be joining a team that is well connected. Some of the team has been in the business for 20 years. There's a very good balance of experience but also ambition from new recruits and they are keen to continue on this trajectory. It's not a "we've always done it this way, so we do it this way". It's more of a "We've always done it this way, what else can we do to make it better".Â
As it's a Studio role, first and foremost you'll know your way around Adobe CS. Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Things are busy, there's been huge investment in new printing kit too, so we do need you to be coming from a Graphics, Large Format background.Â
Please note, this will be an onsite role. Due to the nature of the organisation, you will need to complete (and pass) a DBS check. Also, within 12 months, the location will be moving to the Rugby area. Please ensure that this can work for you.Â
You don't need a CV though, so if you would like to have a bit more information on this, just get in touch. A CV is never needed to have a conversation.Â
