Job Title:Senior Project/Contracts Manager

Due to continued growth and recent contract awards Thorn Baker's exceptional client is currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Project Manager for high-end fit-out projects within their Marine division in Antrim. Delivering prestigious and exciting bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects across a broad range of sectors, you will be part of a progressive, internationally renowned company with over 45 years' experience in providing exceptional quality work.

The role is predominately office based in Antrim, but as a Project Manager, there will be a requirement to travel to locations throughout the world to oversee project delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the successful delivery of projects.
• Undertake responsibility for all safety, health, environment and quality matters ensuring adherence to statutory and legal requirements and Company procedures.
• Develop the project plan and budget, monitor progress and ensure deliverables are achieved.
• Ensure that project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed.
• Manage client relationships.
• Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised.
• Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years' experienceleading project delivery within the interior fit-out industry
• Third level construction related qualification
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Strong contract knowledge and commercial acumen
• Experience of delivering marine fit-out projects is desirable, but not essential.
