Vision for Education are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dynamic Primary Intervention Teacher to support small groups of children across upper Key Stage One (KS1) and upper Key Stage Two (KS2) at a large and friendly primary school in central Scunthorpe from February 2025 on a full-time basis.
About the role
The Primary Intervention Teacher will be working with upper Key Stage One (KS1) and/or upper Key Stage Two (KS2) children (depending on experience) to support with core subjects and any gaps in the children’s learning. This could include Maths, Science, English, Reading and Phonics. As a Primary Intenvention Teacher you will be required to support in identifying children that would benefit from academic intervention through teacher assessment, observation and feedback. This is a planning role, and you will be expected to plan and deliver intervention lessons based on the children’s latest assessments and tailor the learning to their needs and feedback to the class teacher following regular assessments.

Requirements
The desired Primary Intervention Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children throughout Key Stage One and/or Key Stage Two
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working towards KS1 and KS2 SATS
- Experience delivering Phonics
