Job Title – HGV/LGV Class 2 Night Driver
Location – DE12 8AA.
Contract – Long term ongoing
Shift availability – Monday to Friday Nights - 00:00 to 02:00 starts - 08:00 to 10:00 finish
Driver Resource Recruitment are seeking to recruit a recruiting for a HGV/LGV Class 2 Night Driver for our client based in Appleby Magna.
My Client provides and operates transportation and supply-chain solutions for large or medium size national and multinational companies. They are experienced specialists who focus on seamlessly designing end-to-end customized solutions to meet the complex and rapidly evolving supply chain needs whatever the business sector.
This HGV/LGV Class 2 driving job involves the below:
- Handball work – cages, loose items – not heavy
- Loading/unloading vehicles
- Delivering to Car show room retailers through the night.
- Using scanner to POD freight once loaded and delivered.
- Placing freight into lock ups and storage places using keys and alarm pads to access.
- Following set route and adhering to “just-in-time” drops.
- No sleeping on the job.
- Full training will be given.
Start times around: 23:00 - 02:00
The successful HGV/LGV Class 2 Driver will be required to have the following..
- 6 months continuous experience required.
- Must have worked nights
- Flexible attitude to work
- HGV/LGV C Licence
- CPC card
- Digi card
- High vis & Safety boots
- Clean & professional appearance
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DR or IN conviction codes
- Must have a good understanding of English and be a good communicator, paperwork involved.
