We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Worker to join our team and provide high-quality support to service users while managing a team of staff. In this senior role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring practical support aligns with our service’s aims and objectives. Your responsibilities include managing medication, planning and allocating tasks, covering for senior staff as needed, and contributing to care planning and quality improvement.

You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels, supervising and training staff, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all service users. Your role will also involve participating in staff meetings, maintaining accurate records, and upholding our Christian ethos through your work and interactions.

To apply, you must have a relevant SVQ level 3 and be able to complete further qualifications. Basic computer skills and a commitment to our Christian values are essential. Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the SSSC are required. This position also involves occasional “sleep-in” duties and contributing to ongoing staff development.
