Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Set the long-term vision and strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with market trends, technological advancements, and customer needs in the heat pump industry.
- Develop and execute strategies for market expansion, positioning the company as a leader in energy-efficient heating solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand the client base, and increase revenue.
- Communicate with the board of directors regarding company performance, future plans, and key developments.
Operational Excellence & Financial Management
- Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, optimizing efficiency across all departments.
- Oversee material sourcing and supply chain management to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor company expenses, implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Recognize and mitigate financial, operational, and market risks that could impact the company's growth or reputation.
Product Development & Innovation
- Oversee research and development (R&D) efforts to ensure the company remains competitive with innovative and energy-efficient products.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to bring new technologies to market and improve product offerings.
Sales, Marketing & Customer Engagement
- Lead the company's sales and marketing strategy, driving brand awareness and market penetration.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and media interactions to strengthen its reputation.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the management team and employees to achieve their full potential.
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of a skilled and engaged workforce.

The Person
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive leadership experience in HVAC, renewable energy, or a related industry, preferably in Ireland.
- Strong strategic vision and ability to drive business expansion.
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Deep understanding of heat pump technology and market dynamics.
