Due to continued demand in the Education Sector across Northern Ireland we are keen to hire a proficient and adaptable IT Service Manager to oversee the ICT requirements and Services function. You will be expected to provide high quality management, maintenance, support and development of all ICT support services and to liaise with senior management.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 qualification (or higher) in a relevant subject area e.g. HND in Computing or Information Technology is essential
  • The ideal candidate will hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of three year's experience within the last five year's of leading and managing an IT services team to deliver complex IT projects in an enterprise network environment with a minimum of 100 Endpoints (Desktop and Mobile) over multiple sites
  • Proven experience within the following areas;
    • User Management including Office 365 licensing and security
    • Help desk and Asset Management
    • File and Data Management including O365 Share Point, One Drive & TEAM
    • Software License Management
  • Due to the nature of this role, enhanced vetting will be applicable

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ICT requirements and activities for their designated campus
  • Develop and lead a high-performance team to ensure the efficient and effective realisation of the College's vision, policies and objectives
  • Assist with establishing, implementing and monitoring targets and /or objectives
  • Provide technical support hardware/software to all departments, staff and students
  • Ensure accurate and timely data for Development Planning and Performance Management
  • Assist in policy formulation relating to the ICT services function
  • Represent the College on sector related committees and /or relevant external bodies, as required
  • Assist in the management, maintenance and development of all services and in particular the operations of the IT Services function
  • Contribute to the development and take lead on the implementation of the ICT Action plan in relation to ICT Services
  • Assist with day to day maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting of applications and systems
  • Manage and develop all aspects of College ICT Systems.
