Maintenance Technician - Mon to Fri early & lates

This company are a successful food producer with a strong heritage in Co Armagh, a household name in their sector supplying products to major retailers across the UK from their plant near Armagh/ Portadown.

Monday to Friday rotating early & late (No Weekends, No Nights)

Week one 6am - 2.30pm / Week two 2pm - 10.30pm

Competitive salary approx 41k

We are recruiting a Maintenance Technician who will support with preventative and reactive maintenance on factory equipment, such as high speed automated machinery, processing and packaging equipment.

Suitable candidates can be either Electrical or Mechanical bias, however general multi-skilled ability is needed to work across various equipment.

The Role

  • Preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Carry out repairs and modifications or upgrades on machinery
  • Work across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Diagnose, fault find and resolve technical problems
  • Support overall plant performance and improvements
  • Work to company health & safety and food hygiene standards

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified apprenticeship in Electrical/ Mechatronic or Engineering
  • Maintenance experience gained in a production setting working with automated machinery
  • Good multi-skilled ability across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic
  • Can understand and use engineering drawings
  • Experience in food production is preferable
