We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Key Stage 2 team. This full-time, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to Key Stage 2 pupils, both in groups and one-on-one.
- Assist the class teacher in planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) when required.
- Contribute to the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
- Monitor and report on student progress to the teacher.
What We’re Looking For:
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a primary school setting, preferably with Key Stage 2.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning and well-being.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
